Most likely yes. But I would've liked to have seen Australia under pressure with 4 down and the Pakistani bowlers smelling blood. Pressure produces a lot of interesting things. Too bad we didn't get to see that scenario.

doubt the margin of error would be that huge with hawkeye, he was on the backfoot. definitely hitting the stumps.

I think batsmen who walk across the stumps get similar treatment from umpires to batsmen who pad up without playing a shot. If you're trying to take the stumps out of play you lose the benefit of the doubt.
