Haha...Good Choice. DoneSince I'm such a nice guy, I'd hate to give you an avatar that betrays your love for NZ.
So with that in mind I decided on a compromise, I present to you, zombie/white walker Vettori

Zak in the top 5 bowlers with most WC wickets, Hogg playing more WC games than Warne, Waqar playing only 3 WCs.http://stats.espncricinfo.com/icc_c...ng/most_wickets_career.html?id=12;type=trophy
Starc needs 4 wickets to break into that list and push Kallis out.
Some things are very surprising in that list.
every NZ poster needs to make one of these. I dibs Boult.Haha...Good Choice. Done
Grew up with baseball. First encountered cricket in about 2010 and was pretty confused but with understanding baseball it made me understand cricket a bit more easily. I worked at a cinema during the 2011 World Cup and the local Indian diaspora group rented out our auditoriums to show matches. That's when I really fell in love. Cricket is just... such an interesting sport to me being kind of a statistical nerd. I can't say I find watching matches particularly "exciting" (my #1 sport is ice hockey) but it's very... cerebral. Very interesting. Maybe if I were a fan of any given involved team I'd find it exciting, but either way I love watching and following cricket. How'd you get into cricket? I've been to Arizona, and it's not what I'd call a target market.
Zak basically took us to 2 WC finals, took 20ish wickets in both WCs and averages 20 in WCs.Zak in the top 5 bowlers with most WC wickets, Hogg playing more WC games than Warne, Waqar playing only 3 WCs.
India v. NZ final tour thread with trippy player avatars for everyone!every NZ poster needs to make one of these. I dibs Boult.
Wait until you watch a nailbiter Test. Those take years off your life.Grew up with baseball. It's definitely superior to baseball in my opinion, which 99% of my country's population would lynch me for saying. :P
Hope you get that answered ,welcome to CWWho's the female commentator on abc grandstand radio?
With the English accent?Who's the female commentator on abc grandstand radio?
will be a rather creepy affair for any guestsIndia v. NZ final tour thread with trippy player avatars for everyone!
I watched the New Zealand vs. Australia test in Hobart a few years ago. I just about died.Wait until you watch a nailbiter Test. Those take years off your life.
SA against India and SL v Eng were two of the more recent ones that just killed me inside.Wait until you watch a nailbiter Test. Those take years off your life.
He wasn't atg material. Showed glimpses of atg level skills for brief periods in his career at various times. If he had sustained that for a large portion of his career, he would have been. 2003 was when he was the exciting prospect stabilizing in the team. Then he was dropped later, came back as the work horse and then found his rhythm and became the veteran of the side from 2008 onward. He finished as the veteran on 2011. Good bowler who could have been a legit great if not for his fitness issues.Zak basically took us to 2 WC finals, took 20ish wickets in both WCs and averages 20 in WCs.
He's an ATG ODI bowler and I don't give a **** if he conceded runs against SL in Kitply series matches.
Reminds me of another test I watched that was particularly exciting. I think it was played in England, and it was England vs. Sri Lanka. The details I remember about it were that it was really looking like a boring draw and England declared immediately when Ian Bell got his century. Then, totally unexpectedly, England managed to bowl out Sri Lanka in a single session and won the match.SA against India and SL v Eng were two of the more recent ones that just killed me inside.
Imagine how you feel when ODIs go down to the last 3-4 overs. Then imagine feeling that for an entire session or more. Test cricket is just on another plane at times.
Cheers, been lurking a few weeks.Hope you get that answered ,welcome to CW
Thanks. Haven't listened to much on the radio. I know female commentators are becoming more common, but was just a bit surprised to hear an english female commentator doing Australian radio, especially with England not around anymore. With the English accent?
Alison Mitchell if so.
