Important win for Palace. I struggled to believe Steve Clarridge's comments on 5 Live about Palace having nothing to play for before this match. I've seen too many ****-ups over the years to believe that 30 points gave us a big enough margin to be thinking like that. Yeah, you need 7 homegrown players in your Premier League and Champions League squads. Homegrown isn't just English, it's people who have trained in England for a few years before their 21st birthday, so people like Gael Clichy get in, but they're still quite short. If Milner leaves I think they'll be needing to bring people in. Lot of talk about Barkley for instance.

His Bayern contract runs out end of next season. I want him to do another season out and then replace Wenger in 2017, but I worry he'll join United.
