There you go. Taylor has just put himself on the top of the Crap Innings thread. He has also used up a review.

that knock started well as a good anchor but he really lost his way. he really lost it and then had to try and dig his way out.

66 runs needed from three blokes. this will be tight.

The weird part was Taylor started out relatively well but then lost his way. He just started blocking everything. He wasn't looking for any singles. It was an awful innings to watch.

no he didnt
I don't want to have to dig out the posts where people praised his bowling analysis. He noted Taylor's drop off in form which seemed heretical. That said, he could be quite obnoxious.

This game is just what NZ needed.

Nah.

Guptill was guiding nicely, he didn't need to do much.

Eliott came in, started scoring quickly, he kept on going.

He mistimed a good nut, we're in control imo.

well I guess at least our full batting lineup is getting a workout

Wonder how much Taylor would take out of that innings. Not the worst contribution given the match situation and the way the others were playing. But opposition bowlers will be happy will be happy to note he was hanging back throughout and barely played a shot in anger.

nah towards the end he wasn't doing a good job. im on record as being a fan of the anchor *clunk* bang approach he has at #4 but that was a poor attempt at his usual job.

if he had some knocks under his belt in the last few weeks he'd be on 70-80* right now and bringing it home using the full 50 overs.

even if we lose it's a blessing in disguise taylor got a long stay to get back in the swing of things. he'll play better next week.

This is much closer than it should have been. Another wicket here and we're in a spot of bother. Were coasting at 30 overs, and we're still on top but Bangladesh by no means out of it.
