Woweee.

Expected nothing from the game, so am elated and pretty sure I screamed out my layrnx when Monreal scored. Mesut, WAG.

Michael Olivier was pretty awesome tbf. After weeks of horrific officiating that was quite nice.

De Gea is just stupidly good as I've previously mentioned.

Remember when Sterling shoved 'best ref in the country' Howard Webb? Should've walked as ADM did today. Good to see a 'brave' decision (previously known as applying common-sense-in-a-way-which-might-upset-the-majority).

Noel Gallagher advised me of the scoreline and also that di Maria had been sent off and gone straight back to Argentina. Both announcements were greeted joyfully by the bulk of the Manchester crowd. Funny that

Liv-Arse final?

That De Gea save was great. We better finish top 4 with him because we might be struggling if he goes. Don't mind Danny knocking us out tbh. If we had to go out then that's the best option IMO. Poor defending for all 3 goals.

Arsenal look a good bet for the cup and 3rd in the league now. If they have a good summer in the transfer market they might be a challenger for the title next season. Would Arsenal of last season or season before have been able to go to Old Trafford and win, I think not. They are getting there, taken longer than they would have liked but they are getting there.

Coquelin has made an enormous impact since we recalled him. Imagine how good we'd be with a world class holding midfielder from the start of this season.

Sounds a lot like what was said last season. And the season before that. And the season before that. And that. And that. etc...

No doubt we seem perennially 2 players short every season. Hopefully we can add without subtraction this summer, glad we're spending some money these days.

Just on Le Coq, he is positionally disciplined and good in the tackle but what really stands out is how quickly he moves the ball. He's going to get paid soon.

Tbf, I don't think say, Arsenal of two years ago had a major weak point. Maybe up front I guess, but it was more a general level of mediocrity across the board that held them back. Since then, through transfers and player improvement, Arsenal have improved a lot across the back line and midfield and attack. It's only really at Goalkeeper, DM and centre forward where Arsenal haven't improved, or even got worse. Depends on how Coquelin goes in the long term though I guess.

I think there's a lot of depth in the squad now so the summer should be purchasing first team level players in those three positions. Schneiderlin seems a really obvious one and there's no reason why it shouldn't happen. Just throw enough money at he and his team so that they can't refuse, there's no reason not to. Not sure who the others should be the though. Seems a real lack of proper number 9s on the market at the moment.

Spend nearly 200m euros(including the costliest loan deal in football history) and their only target now is securing the 4th spot, which by no means is a given especially with Liverpool being the in-form team in the league right now.Its hard to imagine someone like LVG playing this **** on a stick footie.Yet another sacking could be on the cards.

Yes, I think this is quite significant really. It's something that is conveniently overlooked by the "Giroud isn't good enough" brigade.

Well if Napoli fail to qualify for the CL(they have strong competition right now in Lazio),you could have another go at Higuain.Although they'd probably demand the moon for him.
