Just a reminder for y'all that England don't really miss KP from this OD team but they deeply miss Trott and a firing Strauss/Cook

These two ****s are my favourite players in the World Cup. If they get us over the line I'll name my children after them.
I'm pretty confident that you won't have to name either of them Joss or Woaksey.

Appalling, of course, but at least it gets our bunch of no-hopers out of the way rather than spoiling our enjoyment of one of the quarter finals.

Presumably Piers Morgan, KP and co have been filling the Twittersphere with heartfelt admissions that their championing of Morgan's captaincy was not quite the stroke of genius they thought at the time. Why on earth wouldn't you want to bat first instead of setting up any sort of pressurised run-chase?

Mortaza you beast. Love it. Here's a man putting everything on the line to do his country proud. Scores crucial icing runs, bowls in the pressure situations, takes the big wickets, throws his body behind the ball to save runs, and all on a pair of wonky knees.

He's BD's McCullum and Ryan Harris rolled into one. What a legend.

I'm reluctant to even say who I think would be the best chap to come back and lead this England one-day side...

I mean he's more mature now & he would more likely translate his natural arrogance into confidence if he was skipper.

I could just see him building real self-belief in the squad, particularly in a tournament.

if you rely on batting first you suck too much to go far anyway.

england are just being outplayed. individually most of these guys are good players but collectively they're awful. transplant any one of these blokes into a top ODI side and they'd do their job.
