I know its true of virtually all bats but Hales especially so, he really is better when he doesn't try to over hit and uses his timing. Lovely timer of the ball, also when he plays the ball both sides of wicket rather than bottom handing it.

Agree, but the lad can hit a long ball when he does decide to give it some. Stunned this is the first match they've given him a go in.

what it's not even close. Afghan's pace bowlers are better than India's, let alone Bangladesh's.
