Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The other day Aus bowlers were operating at 145 to 150 and were impossible to play. Today we have Milne hitting the 150kph mark and the Afg player just dead bats it with ease back to the bowler. All 150kph deliveries are not created equal.
Might have something to do with the fact the Aust/Afghan match was at the WACA. :p

i hope boult gets another 5fer. most improved odi bowler of the season imo
It's interesting how Boult has progressed as a ODI bowler over the last few months. initially brought in because he bowled well against Sanga in the test series but now he's our top ODI bowler. He's taken his chances. Good on him.

seriously though the contrast between pre-world cup and world cup is phenomenal. you can rub it in now.
Na there was no such thing as "pre-world cup" for Boult. That was the issue. Should have bowled in the UAE, didn't.

Really? The difference between pre-world cup and World Cup is that he's now getting wickets. A lot of that is just down to silly luck.

I have to say this is disappointing bowling from Milne. With all due respect to Afghanistan but Milne should be ripping 9, 10 and Jack a new one with his 150kph deliveries. I am still not sure what Milne is there for. Has there ever been a 150kph bowler there to contain runs?!

sri lanka and pakistan odis. he wasn't as good then as he is now
At which point the World Cup squad was already confirmed. And yeah he was pretty good then too. Not as good as he was vs. Australia but that was a special day.
