I'll concede Guptill isn't a good slip at all. But anywhere else I'd back Guptill over anyone we have, and all but one or two in the world.

Guptill is extremely good, don't get me wrong. But Southee's hands are like glue these days, whether it's at slip or in the outfield. Can't remember him putting down a catch in donkeys years.

Agree with that except I do think KW > Southee slightly in the Athleticism stakes & thanks for reminding me.... KW also has better hands than Guppy, if we're talking pure 'catching'.

You're all crazy. Guptill only looks bad because he gets close in situations that no one else would be anywhere near. He is definitely a level above Southee and Kane.
