^ this, WI couldn't even defend against Ire and their batsmen are all hacks. India should easily thrash them

The media are such ****s, constantly going about the Kohli thing as if he did some thing oh so unholy.

Crazy upset that injects real interest into this tourney.

I love how every India fan secretly wants India to lose this match just for the sake of losing a game before the quarters, as if losing will make us win the 3 knockout games.

I want a 6-0 in the group stages, and a loss here could even open the door for SA to sneak past us on NRR.
This is the reason why every Indian fan thinks that India will lose or want India to lose. Its not gambhiring. India never usually wins all games of a tournament. Hence, everyone wants a loss this match for the long term goal of winning the tournament :) Can classify it as a superstition.

Honestly, if India must lose one game, I'd rather them lose to Ireland since maybe that would help them get into the QFs. I really want at least one non full member nation to advance, and Ireland are definitely my favorite associate nation (Afghanistan a close second).

Virat Kohli (c)
When cricinfo list 12 players in their possible Indian XI, you really wonder what the point of them predicting the line-up is.

India chasing, that's nice, although that means I'll have to head to sleep and wake up in a few hours time.

We did go through the last champions trophy without dropping a game.
