Panyangara to Sohail Khan, 2 runs, short ball outside off, and Solomon Mire puts down the simplest catch offered to any fielder in the history of the game. Wahab swivelled to hook, and Mire at deep square leg settled under it, fingers pointing up, and it hit his palm and dropped straight out.
anyone got a link to a clip of this?

Irfan proving to be a problem.. crucial partnership coming up.. if Taylor and Hamilton don't hang around at least till the 25th over Zim aren't getting these runs sadly.

Runs from the openers against top eight sides are always basically just a bonus for Zimbabwe so that start shouldn't dent them too much. If they chase this the bulk was always going to come from 3-5. Would've been good if they could have soaked up more of Irfan's spell before getting out I guess.

Yeah and Irfan runs out of gas after 5 overs anyway.

Who do we want to win this from an Ireland perspective?
Whoever you think is easier to beat, basically.

If you beat whoever wins this then you're through unless that side also upsets SA/India. If you beat the loser but lose to the winner it'll just end up in a huge cluster**** of NRR.

Zimbabwe I think. Probably need to finish above both, and Zimbabwe are more likely to drop more points in future games. Including the one against us.
Yeah, if you beat the winner of this and India/RSA don't let you down then you're through, even if you lose to the loser. Zimbabwe will be easier to beat from that perspective so you'd want them to win here.

All down to how they play Afridi imo.
Yeah that will matter. As it stands they only need 5 and half an over....you'd think that was achievable especially given their 3-8 is their strength, but it could turn badly if they struggle with spin.

I don't know, based on current form I'm more comfortable facing Pakistan.

I actually rate a few of Zim's batsmen and they seem to be in nick.
