Tbf mate the land is beautiful it's the people that **** it up. A good holiday destination for hardworking English folk ruined by funny talking skirt wearers.
Scots made the British Empire the greatest in the world, and that my friend is a scientific fact.

To my knowledge there were very few cricket fans in 1877 from Scotland, and so after that it was of course just natural for the two countries to be seperate in cricket. England is strictly speaking England and Wales, probably due to cricket being popular enough in Glamorgan for them to have a county side. I guess if there'd been a corresponding Scottish county at the time, it would have been a Britain CC.

To call this an ODI is a disgrace England against the two test playing g teams they have looked like boys against men yet suddenly against a minnow they are getting cheap runs this match should barely qualify as list A does anyone here believe that a 100 against Scotland is as big an achievement as 100 against New Zealand or Australia be honest...

I love the Scots but this made me laugh.

The concept of international sport began with football and rugby matches between the nations of the UK.

Cricket is a bit the first test matches were designed to represent the best of county cricket against the best of Australian cricket - a unified Australia didn't really exist at the time either, it was just the best way to group the players to compete against an 'all-england' side. If there were Scottish teams in county cricket at the time it's likely that they would have formed part of the England side (England and Britain being somewhat more confused in the 19th century than now) in the same way Welsh players have done.

To think Ali and Bell were made to look like a amateurs v New Zealand now it's fill your boots time what's basically a club level team!

Great that Minnows are not allowed into 2019 WC I am all for expanding our sport but not if it means cheapening the standard ofODIS
