Just noticed Taylor's not far from 5000 runs in ODIs. Too far to get there today obviously, but hope he gets it against Aus.

I once played a game where the tea break was due with about 15 needed and we, in the field, just said nah, lets stay out and finish it. By the time we finished they'd taken the ****ing tea away. Was furious.

In defence of the England team's performance today I think it's important to highlight that cricket can be a difficult game to get the hang of. Especially when you're not totally familiar with it.

Yeah they are.
Actually, now that I think about it the 50 over rep cricket I umpire is done like that too. I'd rather see the lunch break and innings break fixed together there too, but obviously it's less practical.

Should be, at the very least, a 30-minute extension like the 9-down tea break rule in Tests.
