Isn't there a cyclone off Rocky atm? That'll **** up Brisbane's weather faster than Tony Abbott screwed any goodwill he had with the Australian people.

Indeed, all the planets have aligned to totally wreck our Gabba Summer

Getting a refund may however be better value for money than if the Bangers get inserted on a spicey strip

Don't you see enough wild slogs leading to dismissals with less than ten runs scored with Afridi around?
To be fair on maxwell it'll be more like pre-meditating a shot to go through a gap only to hit it up in the air.

One washout on its own isn't a problem as we should still need three wins. Another one now will really put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I haven't thought this through but if this game + say bang v NZ got washed out, bang would be a good chance of going through wouldn't they?
Yes, assuming a washout tomorrow and provided both teams win against the minnows and lose against SL, Bangladesh will have 5 and England 4. In that case, Eng vs Bang will be the decider. But if Bang-NZ match is washed out, Bang will go through even with a loss since the runrate is looking very bad for England.

But I believe England will win Srilanka and put all Bangladesh hopes to rest.

If Bangladesh also win against any of England, Sri Lanka or New Zealand, a hypothetical England win against Sri Lanka wouldn't mean much. Especially considering that they play New Zealand late, after they have in all probability qualified and are more likely to relax and/or play an experimental eleven with the reserves getting a go.
