His feet grinding forward? Snicko definitely picks foot movement up at that sort of degree. Or the keepers feet.
At that exact moment? It stopped right after the ball passed the bat too. These are milliseconds we're talking about here, would be a pretty big coincidence if it wasn't bat imo.

Not Terrible
Deviation though
Yeah but you only caught it on from one angle. I personally think it was out and hotspot would have shown an edge. But with the technology at hand, the umpire's decision and only one angle showing what may have been a deviation, I think that should not have been overturned.

Snicko has been around NZ for a long long time. It's fairly frequent. Batsman tend to be moving their back foot at point of impact.

The spike is the only thing they look for here, because it's the sharp noise of "wood" anything low on the bar is effectively background noise.

I was not going to post until end of the match, but had to say I don't understand that decision. There may have been an edge but gotta have some evidence. Feel bad for Akmal.
IMHO there was 100% certainty there was a nick

Absolutely this, word for word. The amplification of snicko when the ball when past the edge came across the whole frame of snicko - which was (i) much longer and (ii) much quieter than the usual spike for an edge. There was evidence that he may have hit it, and evidence that he might not have done; that's not evidence to give a decision under the way the system is meant to work... but seeing as we're making up the playing conditions as we go along in this tournament, who knows?

The only possible use I can think of for these Pulse questions is for the app to be connected to an instant electric shock so that anyone voting is immediately terminated.

Afridi playing sensibly here. Scary to watch tbh.

We're obviously favourites, but this is basically a t20 chase now with pakistan 5 down. Not impossible.
