Deviation thoughHis feet grinding forward? Snicko definitely picks foot movement up at that sort of degree. Or the keepers feet.
At that exact moment? It stopped right after the ball passed the bat too. These are milliseconds we're talking about here, would be a pretty big coincidence if it wasn't bat imo.His feet grinding forward? Snicko definitely picks foot movement up at that sort of degree. Or the keepers feet.
Yeah but you only caught it on from one angle. I personally think it was out and hotspot would have shown an edge. But with the technology at hand, the umpire's decision and only one angle showing what may have been a deviation, I think that should not have been overturned.Deviation though
There's misbah to counterbalance Afridi's hitting though, from an Indian POV its perfect =)He survives 10 overs then they are back in it and Dhoni will have problems. Has to last that long though.
Snicko has been around NZ for a long long time. It's fairly frequent. Batsman tend to be moving their back foot at point of impact. At that exact moment? Yeah, my thoughts too.Urgh, I know it is early days and all but would quite like a close match at some point.
LOL yes, has happened way too often xDShould just bowl a slightly below waist high full toss to Afridi. Surefire way to get him to hole out.
IMHO there was 100% certainty there was a nickI was not going to post until end of the match, but had to say I don't understand that decision. There may have been an edge but gotta have some evidence. Feel bad for Akmal.

Absolutely this, word for word. The amplification of snicko when the ball when past the edge came across the whole frame of snicko - which was (i) much longer and (ii) much quieter than the usual spike for an edge. There was evidence that he may have hit it, and evidence that he might not have done; that's not evidence to give a decision under the way the system is meant to work... but seeing as we're making up the playing conditions as we go along in this tournament, who knows?Yeah but you only caught it on from one angle.
