2nd Match - Australia v England

Not sure you should change your opinion on Mitch Marsh because of what this shower of a top 4 have done. If you already had Marsh > Watson then fine.
Marsh's bowling performance here isn't coming into it for me. I think Watson is a spent force as an ODI bowler and that Marsh offers a lot more on that front, but my opinion on that was the same before this game.

Watson failing with the bat again has kind of swayed me though. When Clarke's fit I'd be looking at [Finch, Warner, Watson, Clarke, Smith, Marsh, Maxwell, Haddin, seamers] and when Faulkner is fit too I think I'd leave Watson out and move everyone bar the bottom 4 up one. Watson has a chance to do something with the bat in the mean time and change my mind though as Faulkner will be out for another few games.

Should be Watson, Do you actually think it will be Watson though? I think they may go dumb and drop Hazelwood.
Haha Haddin batting nine would be novel.

I'm a pretty big Watson fan. I don't mention it all that much anymore but those are my cards on the table. When even I think Watson should be dropped, it's a good sign that he might actually get dropped. I definitely think Bailey should be dropped first though.

I think this says more about Australia than England. England aren't crap. This Aus side is littered with match winners bat and ball, it's getting ridiculous. Faulkner and Clarke are missing from this team and Cummins is the most prodigiously talented bowler in the country. Throw in Patto. It's just absurdly strong.

NZ are a really good side but I'm still much more optimistic against then than any game against Aus. England actually won in NZ last time they played there, whereas they've only beaten Australia in two of their last 12 games in Australia. I know NZ are a lot better now and England a lot worse, but still.
