nah I read there's no hotspot because it wasn't feasible to equip every match with it.But we're getting hawkeye, and if the BCCI's complaints are the inaccuracies of the DRS system wouldn't hotspot be more accurate than hawkeye?
haha, of all the things to be up in arms aboutWhy are India playing their warm matches in Adelaide where they have to play against Pakistan and Pakistan playing their warm ups in Sydney?
Don't get me wrong but that's not fair.
Why did they drop Shahzad? The captain says that its horses for courses. I thought he was the best batsman for Afghanistan.do reckon afghanistan are better equipped to perform better in an ODI world cup than a T20 world cup. their bowlers are pretty good regardless of the format; they didn't embarrass themselves in their world t20 appearances (apart from letting luke wright make a 99). their batting's the concern, but with more time to get themselves in, they're less likely to collapse in a heap like they did quite often in world t20 matches. they're not going to make the massive 300+ scores, but are quite capable of posting 250ish and jagging an upset or two.
not sure, he was for a while but went out of favour after the asia cup and went with afsar. could've had something to do with fitness, shahzad was always a fat ****.Why did they drop Shahzad? The captain says that its horses for courses. I thought he was the best batsman for Afghanistan.
fitness. He's also a bit of a t20 slogger and the younger guy has a bit of a BJ Watling about him.Why did they drop Shahzad? The captain says that its horses for courses. I thought he was the best batsman for Afghanistan.
Can't they qualify if they're ranked higher than the Test nations, or am I incorrect? Was the case with Ireland too when they set their foot in international cricket. Afghans are showing a lot of desire and discipline on the field but their batsmen haven't done justice to the bowlers. This will come with experience, the talent is there but experience would do them a world of good.
Oh wait, no minnows from next world cup. What a shame.
Hasn't been out of form in limited over games for a while. Since one of those T20 knocks of his last year I think. Some 90 odd off 25 balls or something, not sure. They've managed to play Suresh Raina back into form.
Probably referring to his test form, although he hasn't capitalized on his ODI form as well as he should have since the England tour last year, thrown it away a few times where he really should have kicked on from.Hasn't been out of form in limited over games for a while. There's a qualifying tournament that teams 9 and 10 (probably Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, but hey who knows) will have to play in along with the higher-ranked minnows to secure those last two spots.. a bit like how it worked in the T20 WC, but as a separate tournament entirely a few months in advance. Can't they qualify if they're ranked higher than the Test nations, or am I incorrect?
