Yea but I was wondering if that was the only reason - seems like he was good for a longer career on first glance but I dunno anything about NZ cricket in the 90s.

Just thinking: can the fielding captain change the bowler once he sees that the batting team has taken their powerplay?

Or, vise-versa, can the batting team wait to see who the bowler will be for the next over before they decide to take the powerplay?
