Irfan has excellent figures, so it is not just Taylor who has been struggling. 0-16 off 6 is pretty awesome on this road. My watching is limited to Cricinfo, but I also suspect the wicket is a typically hard Napier pitch that would suit Irfan pretty well too.

Irfan isn't easy, but 3 off 7 in the 35-36th overs isn't good enough. The top batting lineups tend to be absolutely ruthless when they have a good platform, even if the bowling is tough.

We were all hating on his innings when he was 19 (43). He played well today but Pakistan bowled right to his strengths.

He wasn't awful a few years ago when he was crap with the bat, not a world beater back then but perfectly acceptable, his keeping has been brutal however since he was recalled.

I dunno maybe he just couldn't be ****ed to work on his keeping the last few months as he has been focusing on his batting?
