***Official*** Pakistan in New Zealand 2015

Howsie

Cricketer Of The Year
We can't have a 35 y/o bowling out his 10 inside 25 overs with a figure of 2/29 in our squad. That's overrated and unrealistic to win a six week tournament.
Right. So New Zealand are in a QF, Mills has bowled his 10 overs inside 22 oves again, one of the other two quicks is getting pasted and all of sudden we're relying on Anderson bowling a big chunk of the PP and death overs again. Yay. I'd much prefer to see Anderson bowling around the 12-25 mark with maybe one of two in the PP. Mills needs to bowl at the death or just **** off, no other seamer gets a ride like that, why should he?

^ Not a hater.

And Mills is not allowed to play in pool games.

Who do we rate as future commentator material from all the lads who have jumped in the box this summer?

Baz seems like the lead candidate. I recall Jeets being quite good, would be keen to see him have a few ODIs in a few years after he retires.
jeets is on the radio atm ftr
Hence why he's the most overrated NZ ODI cricketer ever.
admit defeat pink boy

there isn't a universe where trent boult is a better odi bowler than kyle mills right now.

people like you are the reason mills will forever be the most underrated odi cricketer in anyones history.

This partnership has been a nice fat slice of cake so far.

How did the start of this innings go guys? I heard us bowl them out but all I know is Baz gone cheap and Latham got a delivery that bounced heaps?

Now this is good to see. Taylor playing well. His batting is more fluid and more importantly his presence at the crease looks good.

BMac slogged a few and then tried one too many. Guppy also looked good but then Irfan and Afridi both troubled him a bit. In the end he got a rising delivery which he tried to pull and was caught out. Latham was a bit scratchy to start off with but then Irfan started troubling him as well with his bounce. Afridi then set him up nicely in an over and claimed his wicket. Since then Taylor and Elliot have made it look pretty easy although Taylor was tested early by Irfan.

So obvs Mills isn't in your best XI?
Southee, Mills, Milne, Vettori, Anderson

look we get it. you've wanted mills dropped since january 2009. it's an opinion you share with 90% of the people who follow the team.

fact is he's got a claim to being in the NZ ATG ODI side, and he's still bowling well. he plays.

Not Terrible
Howsie seems to think the death needs 4 bowlers.

Southee/Mitch/Anderson are enough for the last 12 I think.

I hope Bmac is just slogging for practice, and giving other guys time to bat, then he will be back as a genuine anchor for the team and play proper cricket shots. Latham clearly is quite green and is learning with each game.

NZ fielded well in the field and Guptill took 3 catches, 2 of them diving gems. Bowlers did their part and took wickets regularly, with Anderson imitating Mitch. They lost their shape when Afridi came on but he ran out of partners so he got out trying to drive Milne out of the park.
