Flem, you say that like a new revelation. :p Haven't almost all of us been repeating this like Mantra for the last 3 weeks? '

I still have a feeling one way or the other, whether it's Milne, Mills or on of the others with a niggle/injury, that we'll still see Henry at the WC at some stage.
I'd drop Milne citing his injury and replace with Henry. He is a far better bowler at the moment.

I didn't expect Mills and Sothee to be in the same XI
Why do you say that when it looks like Southee has one of the opening bowling slots sewn up, and it appears Mills and Boult vying for the other? Arguably the most likely combination at this stage, no?

I think the selectors will consider Southee/Mills+ one of Milne/Mitch/Boult, as Southee and Mills are the most experienced bowling staff.

Henry might get a chance at first XI if Southee gets injured.

And we need early wickets, the strangling game won't win the semis as evidence over the last 15 years

This doesn't really work though.. firstly because you'd have to drop Elliott, and secondly because Neesham isn't even in the squad.
Post World Cup imo. Ask the guys who won't make it to 2019 to move on and get four years into Watling-Anderson-Neesham-Santner from 5-8.

I don't see what the infatuation with Milne is. Yes he's quick but he doesn't do anything with the ball. It's not like he's a Shane Bond in the making.

My bowling pool would be:

Southee
Henry
Mills
N McCullum
Vettori
McClenaghan

Chop and change the line up depending on pitch conditions.

I am disappointed Boult is not playing, perfect chance to show what he's got at the death since SL is batting first finally.

He's exactly that, except with an outswinger too.

He's only 22 and he's already producing top class spells.
WTF! What games have you been watching? Aside from bowling quick he's done sweet FA. He got a couple of easy wickets in the last ODI but nothing else. He's taken only 11 wickets at 45 in 14 matches!

Nah, Boult's had a decent chance of late and will get at least 1 against Pakistan, whereas this is only Mills' 2nd game.
