Dont agree with this. 3 grounds couldnt host the final, predetermined venue required, Canberra wins. The sense aspect of it doesn't really change. They've served up a disappointing effort though (with that said, the breakers posted 175 so maybe it's the poms fault for ruining the start of the innings)

Its not the worst idea ever to play in Canberra, but the weird thing is that the final is being played in front of a smaller crowd then the majority of the matches.

Thunder, due to Asian cup (I doubt CA would have been comfortable with the Showground hosting) and it appears, and only appears because for some reason CA refuse to 'own' the decision, the MCG and Adelaide Oval were unavailable because the ICC have taken control of them. This article, by the Canberra Times!, says that the ICC lockout starts 21 days before each ground's first game. Heaven knows why CA arent making this public knowledge though. Would save them so much PR ****. I think Adelaide might have been unavailable for Australia day too...?
