Did you see the smile after he missed out on the hat-trick. That lack of killer instinct is why SK Warne has a hat-trick at the MCG and Starc doesn't.

If it were so easy, there would be more people who'd do it well.
Not saying it's easy, but not the same as getting 6-fer with most wickets in the first 25 overs of the innings. Waqar of course considered one of the (if not the) best death bowlers...

starc has always been iffy in tests. great white ball bowler in T20s and ODIs

aussies will need a good start from warner or finch

brilliant comeback from aus
India were 185-3 after 34.5 overs and should've gotten 300 at least.

india look a batsman short, RA jadeja will strengthen it and drop dhawan.

If anything, it's nice to see someone other than Kohli and Dhoni stand up and deliver, which doesn't happen often enough.

He was always pretty good in the white ball stuff. Dunno why he was suddenly considered bad.
Don't think he needs to prove himself in ODIs..

Whatever it takes!!!
Think where India lost it in this innings was not taking the powerplay after 30 overs.. I remember we were accelerating beautifully between 26 and 30 and I felt it was the perfect time to take the powerplay around over #31.. India almost looked like they were slowing down between 31 and 35 to ensure both Raina and Rohit were in when the powerplay came on. And perhaps why Rohit was that disappointed when Raina got out too.. Its a better idea to run with the momentum and take the powerplay when two batters are in than just wait around and get too calculated about it..

Nah, just poor execution from 35th over. Raina hits that ball for 4 and all is okay.
