Leaving out Pollard but more so Bravo baffles me, the West Indies seemed to have made a very good start with the ball though it is really sad how politics seems to have overtaken everything with their Cricket, every game they take one step forward they take a billion back!

It's not thta Samuels wasn't in time to bring his bat back...... He never ever got his bat behind the line at all!

Awful batting by us. 12 overs of vooping followed by 10 overs of failure to rotate the strike followed by 11 overs of vooping and getting dismissed. No batting savvy displayed at all. Darren Bravo is desperately needed in this team. In fact any proper batsman is badly needed to bat through until the 40th over when the likes of Russell and Sammy can come in and go mad.

It's a shame because I thought we bowled very well indeed at the start and end of the innings (though Benn was extremely dissapointing). Amla, De Villers and Miller batted superbly but we stuck in there and produced some brilliant fielding. If the batsman can disp;lay some common sense we might not do too badly but that is a big if.

Yeah, I often think that Chanderpaul could be useful in this ODI side. He's not actually retired; they just stopped picking him (possibly because they thought he'd not still be playing at this World Cup). There's just not enough substance to the batting. 'All icing, no cake' as the New Zealand fans here say.
