Yeah nah.I reckon Bangladesh are a chance to finish 4th ahead of England in Group A.
Maybe if this was held in Asia. As it is....I reckon Bangladesh are a chance to finish 4th ahead of England in Group A.
Yeah beating Zimbabwe shouldn't disguise how useless they have been in the shortest format for a while now.Maybe if this was held in Asia. As it is....
FFS, expected though I suppose. Bring back Cook.
Don't think anyone wants Bell in the middle order and they won't be thinking about selecting him there. Given the squad selected I'd definitely open the batting with him and Ali. Ali and Hales as an opening partnership has 30-2 written all over it.bell's always done his best work in ODIs as an opener anyway, he's deadweight in the middle as far as I'm concerned.
how this matches up with cabinet's statement i'm not sure, beyond the obvious. i just don't think he's a very good middle order ODI bat.
There is no chance that England will get close to beating South Africa in pool playEngland will definitely get through to the quarter finals, no disrespect to Bangladesh but apart from beating up Zimbabwe they have been useless all year. If if was in the SC, I'd be worried, but not in Australia. Its not the most absurd thing to think that England could win a game or two against South AfricaSri Lanka or Australia either which would render any loss to Bangladesh meaningless.
just like in 2011?There is no chance that England will get close to beating South Africa in pool play
