So if we ignore the tail, do we think Australia batted just only slightly better than India?

Warner, Rogers and Smith were good while India had Vijay, Kohli and Rahane doing well against better bowlers in foreign (well not that foreign really other than a bit more bounce) conditions.

Warner, Rogers and Smith were good while India had Vijay, Kohli and Rahane doing well against better bowlers in foreign (well not that foreign really other than a bit more bounce) conditions.
It's been a series of a good batting side vs a good bowling side and a mediocre batting side vs a terrible bowling side.

I'll let you guess which is which.

Disappointing from Starc with this second new ball, but he's really shown signs of improvement in this match with regards to his lengths. Hopefully he can switch back at will in conditions where the ball is swinging.
