Good sign that he's still using his feet after the missed stumping. Gotta back yourself instead of going back into your shell.

I remember being given "not out" to a plumb LBW shout by a paid umpire in a rep match and when asked why - "The ball pitched outside off before hitting him infront of the wickets" - conversely, I remember another paid umpire saying "not out" to a stumping with the comment "Part of his foot was on the line"

Exact same thing happened during a schools tourney final that I played in back when I was in school. Umpire said in our first language that since his feet was on the line, he had to give it nnot out... Was a paid supposedly neutral umpire who had played divisional cricket (chennai's club cricket equivalent, standards were rather high back then in those)...

I'm not sure if it's exclusively my preexisting bias, but man Burns is good to watch when he's on. Those boundaries there :wub:
