uh, i can. which is why my recollection of the bowling in that series matches the recollection of everyone else.
Yet the same bowlers went and beat Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka without much issue.... wonder if it had anything to do with the, I dunno, FIVE ALL TIME GREAT BATSMAN -cough- in the Indian line up at the time?

This is such an incredible display of stubbornness and wrongness and omg if you were ever a real life cricketer I can totally see how you got nowhere in your career and have ended up a sad bitter cynical man trying to prove he is right all the time on a cricket forum.

Amazing performance this.

except it wasn't the same bowlers at all, and that was a completely different series in different conditions so the relevance is zero.

you do know how you spot bad bowling, yes? has to do with stuff like half-volleys and long-hops, inability to build pressure, inability to stick to a plan. kind of stuff that you can spot with, y'know, eyes.

No. of people trying to say that the centuries scored by Smith and Kohli are due to the batsman and not how bad the bowlers are and pitch conditions > 10
Now u are just making **** up.

No. of people trying to say that the centuries scored by Kohli are due to the batsman and not how bad the bowlers are and pitch conditions = everyone
No. of people trying to say that the centuries scored by Smith are due to the batsman and not how bad the bowlers are and pitch conditions = no one

IIRC - Warne was the only addition, McGrath was still out, Gillespie played, MacGill played and they took a chunk of wickets too.

Hey man, Blocky has more FC wickets than Murphy Su'a or smth like that. I'm sure he knows what good bowling is.

Last point I'll bother making, because watching the cheer leaders constantly feign disbelief, malcontent and such obviously means I'll be blamed for how **** their posting is getting.

Because batsmen never have anything to do with pressure on bowlers, using their feet and shot making to change a bowlers plans and make it hard for them to build pressure, right?

they can yes, and rest assured that all the experienced cricket watchers who have all said to the man that the bowling was rubbish have taken that into account and nonetheless concluded that the bowling was, indeed, rubbish.

Like how he says there were five all time great batsmen in the Indian side if 03/04, when actually back then only Sachin could be called an ATG. Noneoof Laxman, Dravid, Sehwag, etc had that sort of reputation at the time

Could be funny to come back to this thread in 10 years if Rahane, Kohli, Pujara , Vijay, Dhawan, Rahul all somehow end up as ATGs. Suddenly this same crap Australian attack will become good because they were in for a pasting anyway. #BlockyLogic
