Kohli has gone past Dravid as the Indian with most runs in Australia in a test series.
Four runs away from being the third highest series tally against any nation for India - about 100 more to get to second and displace Gavaskar, then 40 odd to displace Gavaskar again for first.

lol.

you know something? i thought very, very hard about instantly infracting that post you made yesterday in this thread. i'd warned you the previous day -- perhaps mere hours before -- about constantly and repetitively pushing an agenda upon other posters in at best a passive-aggressive manner. given that it was a post about that ****ing tendulkar-sanga debate which had absolutely no relation to anything anyone was talking about at the time. i decided instead to wait it out, and good thing too as you managed to edit it to at least give the veneer of relevance despite it still being a breathtaking mischaracterisation of the debate that was actually taking place. even so, it was a very, very obvious example of picking fights -- aggressively targeting other posters it a completely unprovoked manner and was in reply to absolutely nothing in the debate that was actually taking place and had nothing to do with you.

so this is amusing, at best -- but only at best. aren't you always preaching the right to call other posters out on what you feel are bad posts? oh, does that only apply to you and your oh-so-perfect opinions on everything, which are so above cricitism that a stock-standard sarcastic reply is a grave offence? no one dare reply to the sacred blocky, lest thou be perceived to be picking a fight! i'd call it naked hypocrisy, except that... well, there is no reason not to call it naked hypocrisy.

let me make one thing clear, though. the mod team -- including dan, who you made a near identical accusation against yesterday -- have contributed an immense amount of time, effort and patience to making this community what it is. we do this because we like this ****ing place and want to see it improve; we rarely receive any thanks for the job we do and the criticism is generally unceasing. and that's fine, we don't ask for glowing praise, merely for some understanding of what can often be an unexpectedly time-consuming job.

if you feel so doubting of our integrity that you regard perfectly normal posting by us as posters (which we are, first and foremost) as grounds to attack our integrity then may i gently, gently, gently suggest that this is not the forum for you. unless of course that looks too much like picking fights.
i've said it time and time again; i ****ing love it when spark doesn't use capital letters

i feel there's something in the fact i felt the need to use em dashes but not capital letters

(well, the non-autocorrected version of em dashes anyway)

I've always wondered, is there some reason sports journalists never ask actual questions and instead make statements for the person in question to build upon?

It's dreadfully weird

Yet several other posters saw the point, debated it and started a conversation over it. Go figure.

Also bringing up a point from yesterday, then talk about relevance? To quote you, "lol."

At a guess, probably because players these days are so programmed with non committal answers that asking them a question generally gets "Yes/no" or "Full credit to the boys" or "We've done the hard yards" or something similar vague and plain.

TBH - I didn't read the previous pages and saw yet another person make another baseless statement about Sanga vs Tendulkar. Like you say, I edited it once I knew I was wrong. I don't see you doing that despite the conversation spawned from my comment about Australian crowds picking the person they fear to go after in almost every single series, but hey, as you pointed out, you're not perfect like I am. Done with this conversation, arguing with a moderator who just basically admitted he was going to infract me a day earlier because I made a post he didn't like isn't my idea of smart.

Spark was probing outside off on a good length there, had Blocky in two minds whether to play or leave. In the end he has chosen to let it through to the keeper.

Maybe Spark will find the edge next ball.

I had no clue Ganguly played an ODI for India in 1992, in the Benson & Hedges World Series, that too against Marsall & Co.

LK Rahul says Rahul Dravid has always been a great role model for him. Both men from Bangalore #AusvsInd #PinkTest
