He didn't deserve to get dropped in the first place imo. You think he couldn't do what Warner is doing now? He inspired Warner to take Test cricket seriously ffs.

Sehwag in his prime was a far better batsman than Warner. But he couldn't do what Warner is doing at this age.

In hindsight, I think the dropping of Zaheer was much worse than Sehwag's.

Going to the cricket and seeing Twatto ton up tomorrow gonna be rough.
You deserve it as a Kohli fanboy. He made a mess of selections by dropping Ishant, and Pujara for Raina. And he made a mess of the dressing room atmosphere too apparently; this is an area where Dhoni deserves to be proud.

No they both deserved to be dropped. They're passed it and its time to move on. At least these dumb **** bowlers are getting experience being **** in Australia.

Ishant was not dropped. But yeah man if we had Ishant in there's no way Australia would have got this many runs. Except like they did in Adelaide. And Brisbane. And Melbourne.

To be fair I thought shami did a good job taking up a sharma-esque role. Too bad the others picked up the slack of performing a shami-esque role.

Tbh I don't think Kohli is anything extraordinary as captain, but it's still very early days so we should really reserve our judgement on him. I think the far more pressing issue India face is the complete lack of discipline in bowling and their inability to take 20 wickets when they tour overseas.

Dunno, this knock has all the hallmarks of Watto being bowled middle peg on 98, having been dropped at least one more time, of course.

Haha yeah already you gave people here going berserk saying it's no use changing the bottle cap if the drink is ****. Give him more than one match ffs.

Was genuinely surprised that it was Lee of all people who picked up on Watto's "oh no". First commentator to do it iirc, and he's usually the least observant.

Yes man, of course we saw 340/2 in all those 3 tests.

Seriously though, I expect Ashwin to do much better in the 2nd effort here. Good for Kohli if Ishant wasn't dropped indeed..

only diffrence is that Sehwag at his prime could do it for lot longer at the same pace thus makes much bigger hundreds otherwise they are pretty same with Warner bieng a much better bat against quicker bowling.what he did in South Africa against Morkel and Steyn is unprecedented for an opener.
