What's the point of this post.I mean seriously sanga is a ATG and Kane is just starting his career a comparison is unfair imo
Listening to most talk, Williamson is as classy as Sanga - it's a good reminder of what a brilliant #3 does - from Sanga to Ponting to Lara to Amla

ps, a guy with 8 centuries who has also captained his side is not "just starting his career"

Missed most of todays play. Sorry guys, if only I believed harder.

Seriously though, Sangakkara is just the best. Love him so much.

Honestly haven't seen/heard anyone say that.... Certainly not anyone in their right mind.

Sanga WAFG. Top class ton.

SL in a commanding position here - a lead of 80 or so will put them in a great position, need another great escape here a la last year.

No one besides the staunchest Williamson believers think he will be as good as Sangakkara is now. And no one believes he is anywhere near as good right now as Sanga.

But this is a pretty poor post. A 24 year old is not the end product. Kallis averaged 42 at 24 from the same amount of Tests. Williamson is only going to mature as player as he gains more international experience.

Well batted by Sangakkara and Sri Lanka, making us pay for our lax first innings yesterday.

Southee also hasn't been at his best.

In the second innings, apart from needing runs from 'the trio', I really think one of our openers (and that means Latham) must score runs. Latham hasn't done well in moderately seaming conditions to date and we need him to change that asap so we can set SL 300 for the win. A bit worried by how much threatening Herath may be in the second innings here too.

Well maybe not "starting" but certainly hasn't played a lot of game when compared to those other players.

I reckon if Herath really concentrated on his batting, he could make a test quality no.8. Definitely has no shortage of natural ability.

Out for me, I think there's a double noise in slow motion but snicko doesn't agree. Hot Spot looks good, though, so he should probably be on his way...

EDIT: Double noise is both pads. Can understand how it's not out in real time but the Hot Spot must be conclusive.
