***Official**** Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2014/2015

This is where thinking we dominated the first test when it was a lot closer than the scoreline suggested ( which I mentioned and was laughed at for ) comes back to haunt us, we now rely on Sri Lanka collapsing in their first innings against us otherwise we're chasing the game again.

It's not far removed from cheating, as far as I'm concerned. All that extra rest time for the bowlers and all that time not facing up for the batsmen.

There's a reason the third session is supposed to be easier for batting and part of that is to do with bowlers tiring.
gamesmanship.

Disappointing when it doesn't come off, but I totally support the approach of Craig and Southee, they clearly want to get as much time as possible with the ball this evening.

Pradeep with a chance for his first 5-fer..

His average has gone from 72+ to 59 in this match already :D

Miserable stuff from the NZ tail after tea. They'd given up on making 250 before a ball was bowled. Pathetic.

At least Boult's innings is entertaining...

Pradeep looks gun. Hope his career kicks on. Gets alright pace.

I think part of the approach is a fear the pitch will flatten on day 2 meaning grounding it out to 255/9 by stumps won't be as good as all out for 215 with SL 40/2 at stumps. Right or not, appears to be their thinking.
