Thats exactly where you want to bowl to Neesham. Sri Lanka have bowled well this session. We're in serious trouble if we don't get to 300.
Nah 250 will keep us well and truly in the game, though even that's looking a way off at the moment.

Yes, but he's the best spinner in the world.. and NZ aren't the best players of spin.. surely he should've bowled more than 1 over?
The situations are great for seam bowling and they've picked up 3 wickets in this session. As good as Herath is I think bowling him will initially release some pressure.

Much better bowling by the Lankans this session. Dismissing NZ for less than 250 is a 'non-negotiable' for them.

Even 220 could be a plenty if these condition remains similar and Messrs Southee, Boult & Braces hit the right areas.

Anything over 300 & SL are suddenly under huge psychological pressure.

Difficult to know how much & how quickly this wicket will flatten though. Last year it was a road by day 2 if my memory serves.

Our batting really depends on the openers getting off to a decent start and Sanga facing his demons, after number 7 we have absolutely nothing, weakest tail we've fielded since I've been following Sri Lanka IMO, and that's saying something

I don't see how NZ is not getting to 250 here.. whether they will get 325-350 is the question.

Stranger things have happened in test cricket than the last 5 wickets falling for <75 runs on a green track.
