Smithy doesn't appear to know the laws.
Law 42.4.1 includes:
"A bowler shall be limited to two fast short-pitched deliveries per over".
"A fast short-pitched delivery is defined as a ball, which passes or would have passed above the shoulder height of the striker standing upright at the popping crease"
"If a bowler delivers a third fast short pitched ball in an over, the umpire, after the call of no ball and when the ball is dead, shall caution the bowler, inform the other umpire, the captain of the fielding side and the batsmen at the wicket of what has occurred. This caution shall apply throughout the innings"

I know it's a greentop and his wickets haven't been that ***y but he really does have some promise that is only just starting to surface this year, he is good foil to Eranga and Lakmal too, fair to say he's been the pick of the bowlers today and we just needed another seamer apart from Lakmal to be able to hit the spot consistently today and the balance of the attack would have been good, however instead Matthews has been a bit loose and Eranga was dropped

He'd be useful to hold up an end, might get gifted a wicket from batsmen facing the moving ball all day at pace letting up a tad and he'll help the awful over rate, plus our bowlers have been known to run out of steam

Yes, but he's the best spinner in the world.. and NZ aren't the best players of spin.. surely he should've bowled more than 1 over?
