Why we took Alexis off for Monreal I have no idea. Liverpool were down to 10 men ffs, that was just a substitution that was begging for an equaliser.

Not sure how we were even in a position to be winning though. We were dreadful.

I think he's a really good 19 year old defender. Will be the future of our central defence, whether that be at CB or DM. Alas, like a lot of Arsenal players, I think there's a big difference between how he plays at the Emirates against sides we should beat and how he plays away from home in the tough games.

There hasn't been much chance to judge him because he's mostly played at RB when he's very obviously not a RB. He seems OK. Kind of clumsy. Hard to say how good he could be, but playing regularly at CB for Arsenal at the age of 19 will be great experience.

I'm fine with him getting loads of experience at full back because I think it'll serve him well with the qualities that modern centre halves need.

Attacking centre halves running from deep can be such a weapon.

Dani Alves is pretty **** as well now.

Ceni is a pretty out there one as well. This always happens with the method the Guardian use.

It's a disgrace that they'll only be three Arsenal players in that above Wilshere. Lad doesn't make the strongest XI ffs.

Edit: I'd have Isco much higher too, but he doesn't really play enough to justify being over most of those above him. Love that picture they use though.

The panel make lists of top 40 which makes some of the names all the more bizarre. I think they'd get less randoms if they got them to select more players though.

These lists are definitely one of my guilty pleasures though. Genuinely excited to see 41-70 revealed tomorrow.
