Well, I doubt he'll be any worse than Monreal...

But yes, good start by Arsenal. Nice goal for Giroud - WAG.

Arsenal looking decent, which means it'll be the Newcastle fans with the fickle sack the manager chanting this week.

Two great finishes, harsh to rule out that 2nd IMO. Lovely scoop, saw that one plenty at utd - admittedly usually when he was trying to chip the keeper and failing but still...

Arsenal looking really good tonight. Probably means they'll miss about 20 golden chances and then lose 2-1.

Obviously expecting us to win then, because we wont be calling for the managers head....

... we know what happens when you get a hasty ill thought out appointment...

Also, I know most here probably won't like it, but it's worth noting that people who regularly go to prem games make up an absolute tiny proportion of the fans. TV priorities ahead of local fans is as much the result of the vast majorities needs rather than purely financial incentives.
Quoting this so I remember to address it tomorrow

That Newcastle keeper was so bad though. At least 3 and arguably all 4 of the goals could've been saved just by standing up.

You are lucky that the fixtures you have over christmas are fairly easy and you may be able to win them all despite the striker shortage but if you drop any points because of it it would be an absolute disaster for the title chances as you couldn't see Chelsea dropping points to Palace, West Brom and Burnley. Sunderland could a tricky one if they get into you though.

Wonder if you will make an early signing in January with the tricky run at the end of the month?

Keen for when the Friday night EPL fixture kicks in (2016-17?). Wonder if Liverpool will still be in the top flight then...

You guys have your Super Sunday, which is good, but nothing beats a Friday night after a working week, go to the pub and watch a game as a starter to your night.

You can rest your first choice keeper against us TBH.

And the strikers, when our defence is handing stuff on a plate to anyone within a 10 yard radius.

In other news, my internet connection is horrid - trying to stream the game (legally, surprisingly) and the picture is just dreadful.Actually tempted to rinse my mobile data just to get a decent quality of stream.

Edit: also think its about 5 minutes behind reality, but I can't make out the clock in the corner...
