or not..Well I guess there goes that first match..1-0 Aussies..
COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Let's hope they can get all 37 overs in, light isn't usually a factor in Adelaide.159 off 37 overs
After a 150+ partnership?plenty of sides have collapsed in a heap during chases with a lot fewer than 160 runs to get, btw.
for how well they have hung in there it would be pretty lame not to have a crack. It would put a lot of doubt in aussies' minds and put captain on back foot with regard to declarationsSo are India going to have a lick here? Opportunities for Test victories in Australia don't come around often.
Don't get ****y ffs. We're still not 100% safe.or not..
Presumably it's not factoring there's only 37 overs remaining then. The draw must still be the favourite option, I mean how many occasions in test history has a team scored 160 runs in the last session on Day 5?From similar historical matches.. live odds on the cricrate homepage.
dunno about 150+ but certainly after a big partnership, sure. After a 150+ partnership?
I don't think Aus declared too early.. highest 4th innings run chase at Adelaide was <275 and Lyon was bowling well..it was a shambolic declaration from australia they should have batted another 6 overs in morning and added another 40 runs to make the game safe, this has to be one of the worst declarations i have ever seen and has gifted india the test match on a flat track

You have to be prepared to lose to win.it was a shambolic declaration from australia they should have batted another 6 overs in morning and added another 40 runs to make the game safe, this has to be one of the worst declarations i have ever seen and has gifted india the test match on a flat track
I agree the draw chance seems too low, it should figure out the overs left properly but the rain on the 2nd day might've messed it up a bit tbf.Presumably it's not factoring there's only 37 overs remaining then. The draw must still be the favourite option, I mean how many occasions in test history has a team scored 160 runs in the last session on Day 5?
Yeah, they're pretty poor. One of the things that annoys me is a side can do what SA did last year and not show up because they didn't "complete" the chase. Should be a list of highest 4th innings scores IMO.Statistics of highest run chases are overated. Too many variables and every situation different. Right now India has real show.
