Certainly, but his away record is pretty gash all over isn't it? Plus, he's an offie.
Apart from his bad tour of Australia 4 years ago, he's played a grand total of 3 overseas tests. Went wicketless in one in SA, but showed definite signs of improvement in England, and wasn't bad at all.

Yes, but he couldn't have asked for a better pitch to give him confidence for rest of the tour (considering he relies on bounce too)
Well possibly. Just think he's cod ordinary tbh, but I have a terrible bias against off spinners because they're a worthless blight on the game who reintroduced chucking to it. Except for Lyon of course.

How much of a lead would Australia be looking for? Pitch looks like quite a road so I'd say at least 350, probs 400. Depends if Warner stays on and scores quickly.

Is Rohit Sharma a tad, well, portly, compared with some other international players around the traps, or is it just his profile picture on the Channel Nine intro makes it look like he packed an extra chin to tour with?

Australia will look to bat until just before lunch tomorrow. India will go to lunch one down and looking comfortable, but there will be a collapse after lunch with controversial umpiring decisions culminating in them scrambling through to the second last over where Michael Clarke will take three wickets before Mohammed Shami dances down the wicket and bops Mohammed Shami over long on for six, seemingly holding out for a draw*.

*But then Harris will bowl the last over and get the last bloke out.

.
You mean Shami will be bowling to himself from one end and run to the other end to bat as well?

With the ball tailing back into Watson, I'm going to leave work for the day and go out chasing some tail of my own with a few of the lads. Adieu.
