Manjekar is definitely one of the better blokes to come out of the SC though. I am not sure how he is faring on the hindi front though

He is the host for english viewers. Listening to hindi commentary means you get Arun Lal, so no thanks.

Manjrekar analyses the game well but he gives me the feeling all the time that he has no sense of occasion and also looks biased to me.

Manjrekar is OK as a commentator.

Don't like him much as a host tho. Bhogle is a much better host.

I find Harsha Bhogle really annoying so am biased against him.....talks too much when he is in the commentary box like he will miss his flight or something if he doesn't finish his points

Btw, haven't quite figured out yet who all Star have in Australia and where there Studio is located ?

They sort of have a sattelite link usually to Bhogle and Dravid/Akram at the Ground but Hayden, Manjrekar and Ganguly are at the Studio. And the Studio looks Indoor and seems located outside Australia.


On the positive side we don't get Gavaskar/Shastri anymore.
