***Official*** India in Australia 2014-5

Lyon is a perfectly fine bowler FFS.

He is fine agreed, but no world beater as his performances in the UAE proved where he averaged over 140 and was comprehensively outperformed by Baber and a rookie in Yasir Shah.

First Ali and now Lyon, I wish people would stop saying India are good against spin, this generation clearly are not, in test cricket anyhow.

Problem is that lyon relies more on bounce instead of the slow turn you get in the UAE. A lot of the wickets here he got because of the way the balls spat off the pitch.

But yeah, I wouldn't generally agree that india are great players of spin now.

A lot can happen in a hurry at the back end of Adelaide tests. Big first innings scores are the norm but more often than not a result is turned out.

India is perfectly capable of collapsing to Lyon tomorrow.

Winning the Toss seems quite a good advantage on here.

Pretty good odds on a result still. As others have noted, can get a result here after two big first innings more often than almost anywhere else.
