***Official*** India in Australia 2014-5

Should we really count that as a negative?

No disrespect to the bloke but I think the one day side really doesn't need him anymore.
It would definitely make the selectors job much easier.. Aus ODI batting is strong even without him so I don't think he'll be missed.

Advantage Australia at this stage, thanks to Warner

How are the injuries of Clarke and Aaron?

Indians can take some hope from the fact that day one was not as bad as Adelaide 2004, and Warner was not quite as good as Ponting on that day.

Now this is about time this supremely talented Indian middle-order announces its arrival on the big stage loud and clear.

Flat as a pancake.

BTW I can't be the only one thinking that haddin has gone off the boil right? His batting looks less than average ever since the ashes and from what I've seen of his keeping in SA and the UAE I've been less then impressed.

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Woke up in the middle of the night to something like 265/3 so this is acceptable.

Of course there's no way we're getting Smith out before his hundred and the tail will probably sneak in a couple of half centuries so we're still ****ed.

Wandered out and had a gaze at the track at lunch. Looks pretty Adelaide Oval roady but nothing special. Assume it'll be a classic boring track.

I think that's the best innings I've seen live. I've never watched someone hit them that clean from that early, not even remotely related to the quality of bowling.

He literally hit every single ball that he tried to hit dead centre, for 5 hours I've watched a lot of good batsmen and that was something special. It was unbelievable.

I've just realised how many hundreds Warner has already.

Jesus ****ing Christ. Is there a list of fastest batsmen to 10 test tons anywhere?

Haddin has always been a Home Track Bully. I don't think a single duck says much about what he is going to do at home.

Haha Cricinfo comments always are a good laugh. They aren't the best way to prepare for an exam the next day but I'll take them.
