Warner wins the session for Australia. Ishant the best of the bowlers, everyone else has been crap.

First Class Debutant
Watson needs to do something to stay in the test side besides trimming his bush

You know it's been a bad session when Ishant Sharma is your best bowler.

Also according to Cricinfo, Aaron bounced Clarke first ball and tried to stare him down? If true, what a massive ****.

How did Karn Sharma look?

Karn was very inconsistent. I reckon he looked ok when he actually landed them, but he bowled way too many full tosses.

Ishant bowled well. Did justice to the tag of being 'Leader of the attack' in this session. I thought he might be taken to the cleaners like how the opening pair were but he bowled pretty good. Would disagree with your statement.

Not saying Ishant bowled badly; it's just that over the last few years his 'best' is not as good as pretty much the rest of our quicks.

Opening session and he's our best on show generally means a poor showing from the rest of the lot.

+ I like ragging on Ishant.

What a baptism of fire for my boy Virat. Copping that rubbish from Aaron and a rampant Warner.

2-fer in the first session though, take that any day.

Warner is box-office

Has to be the best bat in the world

At least to watch, if not the actual best at his craft

I don't see any problem with this and I don't think Clarke would either.
Didn't see the delivery, but got the impression that Aaron's thinking wasn't along the line of "hey, lets get this out of the way, lets play some hard competitive cricket" and was instead more like "yea **** you, you ready for some short stuff? Remember your buddy died from one of these, lets see how you can handle it".

Whatever it is, it's cricket being played now and it's a contest. Aaron is doing his job as a bowler and Clarke's job is to fend these and hit a big score.

That's a very cynical thought.
