I have to say, even were he to go out soon, Warner making a start like this is about the best thing the game could have hoped for. Lighting it up like this just gets people talking about the cricket again.

Who would've thought Ishant would some day come in and steady the bowling after a wayward start from the others

lol @ India thinking that Varun Aaron's 145km/h thunderbolts would trouble Australia for pace. It's not like these guys have to face Mitchell Johnson in the nets every training session.

With no real movement and no accuracy in his arsenal, I think it has surprised exactly nobody that his first 'spell' went so, so wrong.
It always happens. The India fans generally seem to be obsessed with pace and they always end up rocking up to Australia with a trump card who's average shield pace with no movement or accuracy. Thankfully it never stops being funny.

India taking 7/12 would've achieved that result even moreso tbf.

Why do both of these teams lose a leg when they tour each other's countries? Just weird.

Aaron is not that much quicker than Yadav, or even Shami, Ishant anyway.

Think he's been selected for his practice match performance which acted some sort of shoot out.

Slats insinuating people will come down to the ground on their way back from the beach or the shops.

Will we be hearing from Bill at all this summer? I love that bloke.

I don't understand this around the wicket tactic to warner.

He's going to drive at everything and you're just taking out that slips angle.

Edit: like that.

Not really. Both teams have inexperienced batting lineups. And both of those batting lineups have grown up on a diet of T20 and OD cricket, and so at this stage lack the technique, temperament and experience to weather unfamiliar conditions. Finally, India's got **** pacers, and Australia's got **** spinners.

Man I feel so odd getting happy when Ishant gets wickets lol. Dude's been gun this year though tbf to him. The rest of the nubs need to learn to keep it tight and be patient. Shammi in particular.
