Having said that, I reckon England should bring in Hales for a Cook( Morgan to captain), Taylor for Root and Stokes for Finn ...thoughts England fans?

But yes. Cook has been proper poor in international cricket for 17 months now. It's not even about him as an ODI player anymore he just isn't scoring runs in either format.

But yeah, he's taking up valuable space in the ODI side at a time when we really should be getting Hales bedded in.

Not that the rest of the top order are much better. In a decent team, Morgan would be axed rather than being lined up as the next skipper.

I hope they give Taylor a go for the remaining 5 matches.
Not that we'd win - our attack is way too feeble for that - but he might be a step in the right direction if we do ever get the rest of the side right.

Sorry was 3 actually. Two in the third test and one at the Oval. So three fifties in the last four knocks aint bad. But yeah.
