Villa vs Soton hasn't been very exciting either, to be fair.

It'll be funny if Villa win though, as they will go level on points with Liverpool.

8 homegrown, of which 4 must be 'club produced' (ie at your club for 3 years between 15 and 21)
Of your players, I'd say Szczesny, Gibbs, Wiltshire, Walcott and Ramsey would count as players from your youth system, with Chambers and Welbeck taking you up to 7, so yes you're one short..... Oxlade-Chamberlain is young enough to not need registering.

UEFA website shows you've 24 players registered, Wenger prefering to put in Zalalem over Giroud.... Striker wise you've got Sanago and Campbell to pick from..
Zelalem is under 21.

UEFA Champions League - Arsenal ? UEFA.com - this has Giroud in anyway

Giroud not being registered is fair enough in most ways tbh. I mean, there really is no point registering a player if you've been told they will unconditionally not be available to play.

Just seems like another mistake of the Arsenal medical team. Probably the first time they've overestimated the amount of time a player will spend on the shelf, mind you.

Walcott's registered though, which seems like a huge punt on getting him fit and match ready for what was only ever going to be two games....

IIRC Theo was always meant to be back at least some point this year. Giroud was meant to be conclusively out until Jan at the earliest.

But anyway, it is what it is, and as Pothas said this is actually one of the more boring things we could be talking about.

First date back for Theo was September tbh. Also don't forget he made his first sub appearance a few weeks ago, could easily play in both games really.

@Marcuss. Someone said on twitter that he's since been registered (though i think they were just looking at that). If true than this really has been the worst discussion of all time.

Yeah I definitely feel like Theo was supposed to be back by now. But I suppose he's the type of player there's not much point in playing if he's not fully fit.

On the subject of getting rid of rodgers though I'm sceptical, it's like sacking a pilot mid flight, the teams a real hodge podge at the minute and only Rodgers knows why he bought the players he did.

He's actually signed a lot of absolute dross and wasted ****loads of money.

Not just this season, he's spent about £20m-£30m on random Spanish diddies from B sides that have done **** all. And his signing of Balotelli was just nonsense, **** knows what he was thinking there.
