I don't doubt his ball striking ability, it speaks for itself. But I'd like to see his FC average climb above 10 before he gets a run.

SA are missing Tahir here. Batsmen would definitely be uncomfortable with de Kock standing up.

I don't doubt his ball striking ability, it speaks for itself. But I'd like to see his FC average climb above 10 before he gets a run.

What was Daveys FC ave when he got his test call up? If Warner can carve out a more than respectful test career then maybe Finch can too? While the comms were creaming themselves over Warners 20 odd today it didn't impress me at all........it was senseless and his wicket bordering on criminal.

For the most part Finch has played along the turf, he seems to be learning in a hurry and I can see him playing tests and doing well before too long.

Finch should churn out a big domestic summer before he's considered IMO. He's basically nicked off for a living this far in the Shield. With Warner and Rogers there, it's not as though there's an urgent need for him to play.

Yeah fair call.........certainly not advocating Finchs test selection tomorrow. He's just impressed me this series.......and I don't tend to crack a fat over these ****s and giggles players. I can see test potential there, but for sure.......a couple of stella shield seasons first would certainly be in order.

I've written one letter in my lifetime which was to Smith's, who then sent through a box of chips. Legendary.


**** I hate those ****ed up camera angles on the replays though. Can't see anything. Smacks of a producer whose never played sport.
