I really feel for SL, tbh. It's obvious they're extremely underdone for this series and have gone in with virtually zero preparation ,what with it being hastily arranged to get some cash for the SLCB. Hardly ideal in the lead up to the World Cup and it can't do their morale any good.

Until the ICC decide to get their act together and realize that in the subcontinent (particularly India) if you play with 2 new balls scores of 300-350 will become the norm. They've completely taken out reverse swing for the bowlers, not to mention one less fielder outside the 30 yard circle. So unless there is massive swing on offer I can see even 264 being beaten sometime in the future.

Anyways well played Rohit, still not my preferred choice of opener though.
