Sure I did, doesn't change the fact that those wickets are pretty much exactly what I've been stating previously - Sodhi takes the bulk of his wickets after the sixth wicket falls.

OK, you take a contrived result where Sodhi took his first wicket at 6 for 59 as "Sodhi bowled the side to victory" and I'll say "Uhm, no, it's not" - and we'll disagree, then you'll hate on the fact that I know more than you do and start the same old "Oh, you must live in a MarsOne podule getting ready for a space launch" bollocks you do whenever you run out of cricketing arguments and have to go back to personal.

I still can't find any post that says Ish is NZ's best spinner tho.
Everyone says he is young and has the most potential, and due to the best NZ spinner being **** you might as well pick Sodhi.
Everyone who has watched the game also agrees that Sodhi looked like NZ's best bowler.
Blocky hasn't argued against any of these points and has made like 40 rage filled posts hating on Sodhi and tossing the word 'passive-aggressive' around a lot (which is ironic given his new found love for WW). Plus the unsubstanciated claim that he is a former FC cricketer.
On top of that, Blocky still hasn't explained why he posts on this forum if we are all passive-aggressive dumb ****s with wrong opinions.

Of course you'll say it doesn't count, I said an hour before you replied that you would make up a reason for it not to count. Every single batsman he dismissed has a first class 100, but don't mention that at all. Don't mention that he bowled right through unchanged from the 12th over. Don't mention that the three other bowlers had a combined four wickets between them. Don't mention that because of rain the pitch was practically still a day two pitch. No, the only reason Sodhi took those wickets was because the game was pushed forward and the rest of the bowling attack did the hard yards.

He took his first wicket at 6 for 59. It's perfectly valid to say Sodhi didn't bowl his side to victory, he didn't even matter until the game was a forgone conclusion. But sure, "They all had a bunch of centuries, and because of rain, and because of " - You're a Sodhi apologist.
As for Wagner, he'll play even out of form and still out perform what Southee, Boult, Sodhi and Craig did in this test.

"Everyone says he is young and has the most potential" - no, most people are stating Todd Astle should be in the side ahead of him.
"Everyone is saying he was the best bowler in this match for NZ" - the most stupidest thing I think I've heard anyone say when the opposition are 741/5 in conditions where spin bowlers on the opposition have taken most of the wickets and we're 436/18 - meanwhile Sodhi has gone at over four an over for the entire test and has taken his wickets at an average of 76.
"Blocky hasn't argued these points" - actually you'll see me state that NcCullum would at least keep an end held up, you'll see me state that Sodhi doesn't even deserve his spot at first class level and has other young spin bowlers out performing him at ND A and ND. But of course, it doesn't suit you that my arguments are correct when you're on a high horse about me not actually arguing to point. If you bothered reading the posts, most of the time Sodhi gets brought up is only because I refuse for someone like Howsie to attempt to state he's a half decent pie thrower. The guy can't even chuck pies properly.

Don't worry - realistically they just don't understand some of us can debate cricket, have differing opinions and not get personally offended when we're called on those opinions being wrong. The moderators aren't likely to do anything about it because you've got a group of them who bunch up and perpetuate discussions, then play the "woe is me" passive aggressive game they always do when you call them on it. At this point they're actually trolling you to get you to respond/report.

1) only 2 ppl in this thread have claimed Astle has more potential than Sodhi, I don't know how that makes up 'most' of the nz fans. Anyways Astle is 28; he's past the 'young lad with potential' stage.
2) the fact that you bring up stats shows that you clearly didn't watch the match
3) better performance isn't indicative of more potential; a former FC cricketer should know this
4) where is the proof that you are an FC cricketer btw?
