Why has this IPL sound effect **** on slow-mo replays taken off. That's going to get so annoying as the series goes on.

First 150+ opening partnership since 2000 for Pakistan against non-Bangladesh sides. Christ.

Well this isn't pretty. And our attack isn't particularly well-suited to damage-control either, with everyone bar Southee and Boult likely to leak runs.

that shot of shehzad's where he reached out off balance and dabbed at sodhi for no run says everything about this deck. if this pitch doesn't break up and someone wins this game then the winning bowlers should get the keys to the city.

yeah that's what you think now, wait till that babar **** starts turning them sideways

Get Southee and Boult back on for a short burst after tea. We can't let Azhar settle against no-spin for a half hour.

With Younis and Misbah to come it's hard to see us getting a bat chasing less than 400 here. So let's hope for an epic innings from us.

Yeah but given he's been banned from bowling in Test cricket, I'm pretty sure the umpire would ensure KW's trip to the bowling crease -- left armed or otherwise -- would look remarkably similar to the actions of sane people after accidentally visiting a weldone thread:

Well, I think I'm going to call it a night. My prediction for the score when I wake up 289/2.

Hafeez has played fine tbh - not much in the wicket but apart from the near-catch against Sodhi he hasn't had any trouble taking the runs on offer.

Watling's going to have nightmares about Craig's away drifter tonight though.
